Osborne is set to carry out a series of road improvements on behalf of Hertfordshire County Council.

A £170,000 scheme to replace two sections of culvert under Roydon Road (B181) in Stanstead Abbotts will start on 28 July. Work should be completed by Sunday 31 August.

At the same time bridge maintenance will be carried out at the A10 Hailey Lane interchange.

The scheme to repair worn out sections of the 30-year-old bridge will take place under lane restrictions and temporary speed limits.

Terry Douris, cabinet member for highways, said: “These works form part of Hertfordshire County Council’s ongoing commitment to maintain and improve our roads for the benefit of all road users in Hertfordshire.”
