A road resurfacing framework worth up to £20 million is up for grabs in Scotland.

Renfrewshire Council is leading on the £15m to £20m framework, which includes the supply of road stone and ancillary materials and works.

The council has formed a joint purchasing group along with Argyll & Bute, East Renfrewshire, Inverclyde and West Dunbartonshire.

The group will provide a road maintenance service for all non trunk roads and may also be responsible for the reconstruction and resurfacing of minor roads, footways and footpaths.

Firms looking to win the job must express their interest by October 17. E-mail anthony.mccluskey@renfrewshire.gov.uk or contact 0141 842 5332.
