Commenting on the appointment, Cees De Wijs, ERTICO Chairman, said, “It is with great pleasure that I announce Jacob Bangsgaard as new CEO of ERTICO. His strong track record of success as Director General at FIA Foundation made him the best candidate for the role. Mr Bangsgaard has demonstrated throughout his career the ability to design and lead strategies. I am most confident that Jacob will further evolve the ERTICO Partnership so that it can continue and further strengthen its mission to achieve effective and appropriate deployment of Intelligent Transport Systems.”

Jacob Bangsgaard, added, “I have been involved in ERTICO for many years, as member of the ERTICO Supervisory Board  and am delighted to have been chosen to lead the organisation in the next exciting phase of its journey. I look forward to working with the ERTICO Partners to achieve further success in the years to come.”
