Mouchel has boosted its intelligent transport team with the appointment of Steve Green as business unit director for technology.

With 25 years of experience in the highways ITS industry, Green started his career with Mouchel in 2003 following the acquisition of Atkins Odlin.

His achievements include mobilising the PeekMouchel joint venture, leading the Birmingham Box 3 managed motorways project (M6 Junction 5 to 8 smart motorways) and service delivery for Network Information Services (Mouchel’s joint venture with Thales UK for the Highways Agency’s National Traffic Information Service) where he continues as managing director for the business.

Commenting on the appointment, director of Mouchel intelligent transport, Jeremy Wray, said: “Steve brings with him great experience of the highway technology market and has exciting ideas for positioning the already industry-leading business for future opportunities.

“He will be working closely with our team of externally recognised technical directors and project staff both to capitalise on our inter-urban smart motorway skills through Highways Agency contracts and also to develop opportunities in the urban ‘future cities’ market.”
