Mott MacDonald is using the ITS Europe Congress in Glasgow to demonstrate a new way of visualising a range of information to transport managers.
The Future Cities Dashboard is a trial to see what can be done with different information about air quality, electronic devices and journey times.
Senior Project Manager Gareth Bailey told Smart Highways editor Paul Hutton, “this is a way of capturing data sets and getting all the information together, and then working out what you can do with them.”
And he added that the trial in Glasgow is in line with expectations, “we’ve cleaned the data a bit… you have do some sanity checks on data, on the whole it’s backing up what we expected.”
