Colour Mobile VMS and P&D Specialist Services have joined forces to win a Transport for London contract to supply variable message signage for the city’s Olympic Route Network for The London 2012 Games.

A total of 177 solar powered signs will be employed along Olympic routes to enable athletes and officials, to travel safely, securely and efficiently between venues and their accommodation, while also keeping London and the rest of the UK moving.

Tony Price, MD of Colour Mobile VMS said: “We are extremely proud to be working with TfL during such a key time.

“We are looking forward to delivering and surpassing the requirements of the contract and are confident the visual impact delivered by our product will add significant value to the overall traffic management plan.”

Colour Mobile VMS is sourcing its revolutionary variable message signs exclusively in the UK, from international road safety equipment specialist, Bartco.
