Riggotts has beaten 27 competitors to land a major surface markings contract with the UK’s biggest independent healthcare employer.
Riggotts will be carrying out work on car parks and outside pedestrian areas at BMI Healthcare’s 70 hospitals throughout the country under the two-year contract.
Simon Chambers, of Riggotts, said: “We are delighted that BMI have placed their faith in us. We will be following the specification they have drawn up which, quite rightly, demands very high standards of workmanship.
“For instance, we will be using thermoplastic paint, which has to remain durable for at least five years, and ensuring that all parking bays, warning signs, speed restrictions and pedestrian areas are easy to observe.”
Riggotts has recently invested £60,000 in a bid to become the safest road and surface marking company in the UK, overhauling their health, safety, quality and environmental policies.
The firm has also invested in a 72 hp laser-guided multi-purpose surface preparation unit which has a powerful built-in dust and debris collection system to prevent hazardous working conditions and environmental pollution.
