As Intertraffic 2016 draws to a close in Amsterdam, the industry starts to look ahead to the forthcoming must-attend events in the industry.
Still to come this year we have the ITS European Congress in Glasgow in June and the World Congress in Melbourne in October as well as November’s showcase of technology and highways innovation, Seeing is Believing at Bruntingthorpe in Leicestershire.
ITS (UK) Secretary General Jennie Martin chatted with Smart Highways editor Paul Hutton to explain more about the conference:
Project Director Dean Zabrieszach from ITS Australia told Paul that the long flights to Melbourne will be worth all the effort:
Remember that Paul will be at both events reporting for Smart Highways and in Melbourne is the World Congress’s Official Podcast Provider presenting daily “radio shows” from the event for you to download and/or stream, ideal whether you’re in Melbourne or unable to make it but keen to keep up with all that’s going on there (Sponsors who have signed up to support the podcasts so far are: PTV, Swarco, Vysionics/Jenoptik, Mott MacDonald and Cubic Transportation Systems).
