ITS expert Andy Graham is joining the list of columnists in Smart Highways.
Andy, who owns his own consultancy, White Willow, will write a page in each magazine about a key issue in the industry.
An extremely well respected expert, Andy is never scared to say it how it is and will often challenge perceived wisdom.
Among a huge number of projects, Andy has been involved in implementation of Regional Control Centres, RDS-TMC, pan EU projects and is also an expert in road user charging. He is also doing a part time PhD in impacts of automated vehicles on junction capacity
Smart Highways editor Paul Hutton said, “I’ve known Andy since the early 2000s when we worked together on the UK’s first RDS-TMC service for Toyota. I’ve been trying to get Andy as a regular in the pages of Smart Highways since I started editing the magazine two years ago and I’m delighted he’s now found time in his very busy schedule to share some of his wisdom. I know it’ll never be a dull read!”.
Andy said, “I’m a fan of Smart Highways magazine and the way it concentrates on the UK sector. As those who work with me will know, I’m never short of an opinion or two and now I have an outlet in which to vent my feelings publicly!”
Andy’s first column will be in the next issue of Smart Highways which will be available just before Intertraffic.
