Smart mobility solutions will turn Copenhagen’s streets and squares into a dynamic demonstration space this September, when the ITS World Congress brings innovative mobility solutions straight to the community.

The organisers, ERTICO – ITS Europe say that also on show will be Danish transport solutions, research findings and technological expertise encouraging growth in exports of green mobility solutions, plus plenty of demonstrations with technologies you won’t see anywhere else.

The MinRejseplan app will allow travellers to plan their journey by using a range of transport and mobility modes, from trains, buses and the Metro, to city bikes, taxis, carpooling and car sharing while visitors can discover the first autonomous cab on the market as Keolis reinforces its role as a pioneer in all forms of everyday shared transport by promoting its vision of more connected, autonomous, shared and electric mobility solutions.

Visitors can also experience how the driverless shuttles can be integrated into the Urban Jungle and complement traditional public transport services. Autonomous Mobility, Bestmile, Ibeo Automotive Systems, Paravan and Hanseatische Fahrzeug Manufaktur are joining forces to create an eco-system that has everything needed to operate a fleet of autonomous vehicles.

All demo bookings can be made via the Congress App which will be available for download closer to the Congress.

SMART Highways is the official podcast provider of the World Congress with preview programmes and one every day from the event.  The popular podcasts are a great way to keep up to date with what is happening at the event whether you are there or unable to make it and will be available on the website and congress app.
