Imtech Traffic & Infra says it is “pleased to confirm” that it has secured a buyer and a future for the business.
It’s been bought by Dutch private equity firm Egeria, which manages €1.7 billion of funds. The firm says Egeria aims to create long term value for all parties involved by growing and developing the companies in close cooperation, and based on mutual respect and trust, with the management.
In a statement, Imtech Traffic & Infra says Egeria gives them “the opportunity to continue our good work and deliver on our commitments to our markets.”
Armand Knoop, division director, said: “Our fighting spirit and belief in our division is strong. We are grateful to our employees, our clients and our suppliers for the loyalty and support we have received during this turbulent period”.
The company says it has been a “challenging time” and “there is still a lot to do”.
