Google’s monthly report for its driverless car project has revealed that its vehicles were not involved in any accidents during tests in January.

The company says they’re currently averaging 10,000-15,000 autonomous miles per week on public streets in California and are now approaching 1.5 million miles of autonomous driving since the project began in 2009

They are using 22 Lexus RX450h SUVs, (15 in Mountain View, California and seven in the Texan city of Austin), all of which are currently self-driving on public streets.

On top of that there are 33 prototypes currently self-driving on public streets, 26 of them in Mountain View, the rest in Austin.
