The organisers of this year’s ITS European Congress in Glasgow are reminding the industry that the deadline for paper submissions is this Wednesday, 13th January.
Submissions are open for Technical and Scientific Papers for either traditional presentations or interactive sessions. Authors intending to be considered for the Commercial Papers category can submit their paper for a commercial theatre session. Authors can upload their paper and subsequently update if needed after the review. The organisers recommend as much content as possible (up to 10 pages) is submitted to allow the reviewer to judge the paper appropriately.
ITS experts are also welcome to submit Special Interest Session proposals for the programme of the ITS European Congress.
Topics, guidelines and requirements for all paper and session categories can be found in the Call for Papers brochure on the congress website www.glasgow2016.itsineurope.com
The Congress takes place from 6 to 9 June at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC) a short walk from the City Centre on the banks of the River Clyde.
The Congress theme is “Delivering Future Cities Now” and is based on Glasgow’s work on Smart Cities which recently resulted in a £24M award and is based on the City’s and Scotland’s long history of innovation in Intelligent Traffic Control which started in 1967 with Europe’s first computerised traffic control system.
