FM Conway is continuing to strengthen its maintenance and contracting operations with a trio of management changes.
Joanne Garwood has been appointed to the Management Board, John Holliday to Professional Services Director and Ro Hall to Term-Maintenance Director.
Garwood joins the Management Board, whose primary purpose is to strategically drive the business forward. She will be involved in implementing the company’s business objectives and has already established a Central Services Division to provide core support services to the rest of the business, including administration, finance, legal, personnel and policy.
As Director of Professional Services, Holliday will oversee the Division which was launched at the end of 2010 to ensure that highways maintenance activities and schemes are delivered as cost-effectively as possible.
By co-ordinating activities across the highway network, eliminating duplication between parties and streamlining administrative procedures, he will lead the Division which aims to provide significant savings to local authorities, without compromising on service levels or public safety.
In his new role as Term-Maintenance Director, Hall will be responsible for the management of contracts with customers, which includes the technical framework required for planning, assessing, deploying and directing maintenance operations.
