Cambridgeshire County Council is seeking contractors to undertake highways works including structural work, surfacing, road works and capital schemes for highways.

It is anticipated that Lot 1 will cover schemes or packages of schemes with a value of up to £1.5m. Lot 2 schemes will be worth between £1m and £20m.

The following local authorities are the current members of the Eastern Highways Alliance: Bedford Borough Council, Cambridgeshire County Council, Central Bedfordshire Council, Essex County Council, Hertfordshire County Council, Luton Borough Council, Norfolk County Council, Peterborough City Council, Southend on Sea Borough Council and Suffolk County Council.

Cambridgeshire County Council is leading the procurement for this on behalf of the current and any future members of the Eastern Highways Alliance.

A supplier day is taking place next month (20 February) at Wood Green Enterprises, Kings Bush Farm, London Road, Godmanchester, Cambridge, PE29 2NH with registration at 10am. The day will present the aims of the procurement of the Alliance’s new Framework Agreement to potential participants.
