An extremely busy week of discussion, networking and exhibiting has drawn to a close at the ITS World Congress in Montreal, and you can hear all about it with the official podcasts from Smart Highways magazines.

These four radio-style news programmes are available for download or streaming and feature interviews with opinion formers, decision makers and exhibitors at the show.

The podcasts are sponsored by SWARCO, HMI Technologies, Intelight and Q-Free.

In Monday’s podcast, you can hear from ITS America’s new CEO, from Intelight, ITS (UK), ERTICO – ITS Europe and an ever-present at the World Congresses since the first in 1994, Professor Eric Sampson.

In Tuesday’s podcast, IBI talk smart cities, there’s an Australian/New Zealand view on autonomous vehicles with HMI and an update about a huge test bed in California, plus we take a ride in a connected car.

In Wednesday’s podcast, SNC Lavalin talk about their major acquisition of Atkins, SWARCO discuss Traffic Management as a Service and we hear from their new acquisition McCain, while Cubic talk smart cities and New York ticketing and there’s a fascinating view on legal challenges around driverless cars in Japan.

In Thursday’s podcast, PTV explain how transport modelling is speeding up the development of smart cities and autonomous vehicles, talk traffic management software with Q-Free, hear about a potential game changer in traffic information in the US and look forward to next year’s Congress in Copenhagen.

Whether you made it to Montreal or was elsewhere, these easy-to-listen-to podcasts will educate and inform, and you can listen to them at a time of your choosing!
