The MD of Bartco UK says that, two years after launching his business at Intertraffic Amsterdam 2014, it’s now ready to win contracts in Europe and further afield.
Pat Musgrave says the business has spent the last two years getting the required accreditations to be able to trade in the EU. “There is a very strict certification process,” he told Smart Highways editor Paul Hutton. “Europe is a bit of a closed shop and it’s hard to get a foot in the door. But nobody can turn around and say we haven’t got a certified product. It would have been easy to take the short cut route and say it is certified until somebody calls your bluff and says they want to see the certificate. I’ve ticked all the boxes and we have the right bit of paper for the job.”
Pat goes on to talk about the opportunities his company now has both in Europe and the Middle East and how he has worked to tailor his products for each market.
