£6m Scottish repair deal up for grabs

Argyll and Bute Councili is looking for a contractor to carry out a £5.9m road repair and improvement programme in Helensburgh Town Centre.

An OJEU notice states the work consists of : “Breaking up of existing pavements, road kerbs and the like, the breaking up and removal of existing road surfacing or the planning and resurfacing of existing road surfacing.

“Realignment of new kerbing and the creation of wider pavements, dedicated parking bays and new tarmacadam roadways together with the installation of new traffic control signage.

“Works also comprise the remodelling and upgrading of Colquhoun Square and the West Esplanade.”
